Kids' shoes are cleaner than that of an adult

Kids' shoes are cleaner that that of an adult. That is what many adults think.

You board the MRT, and you see 3 irritating little kids running around, screaming at the top of their voice. AFter a while some people start to get off the train, and there are some empty seats around. You sit down first, and tries to sit. The mother sits down too and the kids follow. But now there is a problem, there are not enough seats for the kids. They all want to sit, so two of them share one seat, squishing the innocent you beside them. Kids, being kids, can never stay still for more than 3 seconds. Soon, in the already very cramp seat, the kids start to jerk around as they accidently poke each other and some of them starts squealing. They did not bother taking their shoes off. You open your eyes, only to find that you are beside the squealing little pigs - i mean kids, but there's not much different, is there? Both squeal, squish each other, and make a hell lot of noise.

Now the parent points to something outside the window. At once the kids stand on the seat and points at a distant object, yelling to the kid at the other side. Maybe the kid even starts jumping about. One steps on another's toe. The kid starts wailing, and kicking the other kid. Now they get into a fight, kicking at everything - including you - with their shoes.

Finally the train stops again, and saves you from the ordeal.

Now I always find it very irritating when the kids act like that. Espacially when the kids stand on the seat and jump around WITH THEIR SHOES ON. Plus, the parents do nothing to stop them. The seats don't belong to them, does it? And I don't see why kids are allowed to do that in the first place. The shoes of kids ARE NOT in anyway cleaner than that of an adult. In fact it might even be dirtier. Yes I agree that sometimes parents do carry their kids around, so they don't quite walk around as much as adults do, but when they DO walk, they go around stepping in mud, running in water, so i don't see why their shoes are considered cleaner! Or perhaps the parents just don't care.

Bus Stop

It started to rain, but it wasn’t a heavy rain, just a small drizzle. On one of the busiest street, many people hurried into restaurants, inns, and any shelter within sight. After much jostling and pushing, a little black girl was pushed out of the bus stop shelter and into the cold, heartless rain. She tripped on a stone and nearly fell, but a black man caught her just in time and helped her to her feet.
Then he left as he saw his bus arrive. The little girl turned back, and saw the black man board the bus to pay the driver. Then, he got down and started to walk towards the back door, but the bus drove away before he could do so. Disappointed, the black man opened his sack to check if he had any money left. Seeing nothing inside, he started his long walk home. No one stepped forward to help him.
Another bus arrived, and the little girl saw a black man inside the bus refuse to stand up to give his seat to a white. The white man grabbed him by the collar, punched him, and, with the help of another white, threw the black man out of the bus. The black man placed his hand on his forehead to wipe away the blood, and sat at the side of the road, waiting for another bus to come. No one stepped forward to help him.
The girl stood in the rain for another few minutes, when she saw a white reaching out to take a sack of money from the black. His excuse was that blacks could not be trusted with money. For a second there was hesitation in the blacks eyes, but soon rage took over and he shouted at the white. At once, policemen were upon the black and they chased him down the street. No one stepped forward to help him.
Turning her head, the girl saw signs, many signs. Some said, “NO BLACKS”, while others read, “WHITES ONLY”. A black tried to enter one of those restaurants, and was immediately thrown out and punished. No one stepped forward to help him.
As she stood at the bus stop, many such images flashed pass and she wondered what they meant.

Senses

Lol i don't even know what i'm writing.

Take a deep breath,
Smell things you’ve never see.

Open your eyes and look,
See things you’ve never felt.

Reach out your hands and touch,
Feel things you’ve never tasted.

Stick out your tongue and savor,
Taste things you’ve never smell.

Now close your eyes and listen.

A Diary

It's suppose to focus on the boy and the girl becoming friends and how the girl was lonely and not fitting in, but i kinda screwed it up.

24th March
I don’t like changes. Even though I know no matter what you do, there will be changes and most of the changes will not be undone, but I still don’t like them. For one, this is the first diary I’ve even had. I never thought I would have a diary, but so many things happened recently and I don’t know what I can do. My parents divorced and we moved house and stuff like that. The house is big and white and clean and neat and... I don’t know it doesn’t matter. But it does have a great view of the sea and the breeze is really nice. Anyway, I’m staying with my mom now, but apparently my dad’s pretty upset about it. Mom said that maybe I’ll have to move to stay with him, I don’t know. All I know is that I don’t want to. Guess too much changes occurring at the same time can make me freak out.
26th March
Went to school today, and I must confess I felt out of place. People just ignore me and do their own stuff. While I was introducing myself I saw this girl, she was ugly looked pretty upset. I thought she had no friends, but to my surprise, she did. But her friends doesn’t seem to notice that she’s upset. Perhaps I’m being over sensitive? At that moment I I thought to myself, if a girl like her has friends... I don’t know, there’s so much stuff happening recently I really don’t know.
28th March
Mom’s shouting on the phone, apparently dad called and they’re arguing. No friends at school yet, I just get ignored.
2nd April
I saw that ugly girl from my class this afternoon. She was standing near the cliff by the beach, and I thought she was going to commit suicide. I just stood there for god know how long staring at her in case she did. Then she just turned and left. Sometimes people do funny things.
5th April
She’s there again, at the cliff by the beach. After I saw her I went back in, and when I checked again in the late evening, she was gone.
10th April
More stuff happened. One night dad came, and I thought I could talk to him and do stuff I did before the whole divorce thing, but they started arguing again, the way they did before they divorced. Guess it never really changed anything. I locked myself in my room and... I don’t know just do stuff and ignore the world the way they ignore me. I wonder if my parents ever thought how all these stuff affects me. Perhaps they’re too busy... too busy arguing with each other and not noticing that they’re not getting anywhere.
11th April
She’s there again, I wonder what she’s doing?
12th April
I saw her again, and this time I went out to check. I hid myself, quite far away. She seems to be talking to someone, but there’s no one there. Maybe she’s talking to herself? I don’t know. Before I could find out anything else she just left.
14th April
I saw her again, and I went down. I got closer and she was talking to herself. She said stuff about getting ignored, not fitting in and things like that. Guess she’s lonely eh?
16th April
I can’t believe what happened today. I was, or so I thought, pretty well hidden while I listened to her talk (and I still don’t know why I did that) then suddenly, she just turned and, as if she knew I was there, stare straight into my eyes. I freaked out and I ran, i think I heard her call me, but I just couldn’t stop until I’m back in my room. I don’t want to go to school tomorrow.
31st October
Guess I managed to befriend that girl, and guess I didn’t need this diary for a long time, but more changes are about to come. Seems like I’m going to stay with my dad... after not meeting him for so long it just feels so wrong... but there’s not much I can do. Perhaps I’ll find myself another friend?

I didn't screw up the lesson
I screwed up my cello lesson last week.
I hope i'm not going to screw up the one tomorrow.
I prac more that what i did for last week's lesson.
But not as much as i promised i would.
I did lost of the piece.
I can almost play at the same speed as i'm supposed to.
But i didn't memorized it.
And my intonation sucks.
And i didn't do much scale.
I hope i don't screw up my exam.
I can't do oral.
I can't do sight reading.
I don't think i can pass.
Shit.
My mom says she's not going to let me continue learning the cello if i fail.
Shit.
I think i'm gonna screw up.
Shit.
If i fail i'll die.
I'll probably have to change cca or something.
Shit.
I'll be more screwed than the time i lost my phone.
Crap.
Carp.
Fish.
Okay, it's getting out of point.

My new com spoiled again.
Cos of the noton ghost program
My dad downloaded.
Not my fault.
But he's telling me to fix it.
I'm gonna let my bro do it.
But he's not home.

I yelled at my grandma today.
Cos my mom did something that pissed her off.
My grandma told me to scold my mom
cos they don't talk to each other.
if i did i'll get scolded by my mom
cos she don't admit that she's wrong.
but actually she's scolding my grandma.
but i have to listen to all that.
when my grandma did something wrong.
my mom tells me to scold her.
cos they don't talk to each other.
I'll get scolded by my grandma
cos she don't admit that she's wrong too.
And i ask myself.
WHY ME?

It's been a long day.
i'm tired.
And pissed.
So i can't write proper sentences
and it makes me even more pissed.

Mouseferatu 9vampire mouse)

I wrote this for a competition in Mousehunt. I'm not expecting to win, but it's fun to write and get other people to comment.

“Black Widow, there have been reports of a vampire mouse terrorising this area,” a bionic mouse whispered to the police.
“Don’t be silly, vampires can’t survive here – they need special cheese,” the black widow mouse chuckled.
“They say it sucks the blood of other mice and kills them. And black widow mice seem to be its favourite.”
****
Black Widow sets out in search of the vampire mouse seen around that area. She travelled around for a while then stops and rest on a tree at the harbour, near to the kingdom. It was a good spot where many mice pass by. At least I can see the sun rise if nothing exciting happens, she thought. Below her, many mice passed by, and several hunters came to set their trap, but nothing extraordinary seems to happen. After a long wait, she decided that the vampire’s not going to appear. That was when it emerged.
It was a small mouse, so small she didn’t realise its existence even when it dropped onto her branch. It made such small movements Black Widow thought it was the wind. It was not until the tiny mice lunged at her when she noticed it. Despite being surprised, Black Widow managed to dodge the attack. Doing so, she fell off the branch and landed on the ground. Ignoring the bruises she had, she darted into the bush. The vampire mouse dropped from the branch and advanced towards her. Black Widow ran a short distance, then suddenly turned and struck the vampire with her paws and fangs. She jumped back when she felt that she bit into something cold. At that very moment the vampire swiped at her with its paw. She landed nearly a metre away. The vampire sprinted towards her, and she barely had the time to stand up before the mouse reached her. She turned and knocked the tiny mouse aside.
After that it was all claws, teeth and blood. The vampire mouse, small and agile, dodged Black Widow’s attacks, but Black Widow was experienced and with every strike she got closer to reading its movement. The vampire mouse sensed this, and tried not to move in a fixed pattern, but alas, it was young and inexperienced.
Just as the sun was about to rise, Black Widow’s deadly claw struck the vampire mouse, knocking it into a tree. At once Black Widow was upon the stunned mouse; tearing at it with her claws and biting it as if it was a piece of Super Brie. Now the young mouse was pinned under Black Widow’s claws and unable to move.
Just before the final blow, the vampire mouse gasped, “I’m too young to die. Spare me.”
Black Widow hesitated. She had been so caught up with fighting she didn’t notice that the mouse was only a tiny newborn. Without parents, the mouse was probably defenceless before it became a vampire. It is so young it probably doesn’t know what’s wrong and what’s right, thought Black Widow.
“Never, I repeat, never step a foot near the kingdom ever. Go to the place where vampires dwell, return to where your ancestors came from, understand?”
“Yes,” the tiny mouse was struggle for its breath.
Black Widow released her grip. She stared at the mouse for a long time, and then she turned and prepared to leave. That was when she felt a piercing pain on her neck.

That night, Gwania lost their most trusty policemice.
****
“You want power?” quizzed a vampire mouse.
“Y... ... yesz,” the baby white mice replied, it was small and weak, shivering continuously and thin enough for you to see its ribs.
“Why?”
“Revenge... ... to slay those that took my family away from me,” hissed the tiny white mice. From the small and weak figure, she suddenly grew to be so strong, her eyes were red with anger, her body tensed and ready to strike, her teeth showing and her tail lashing out at the shadows behind her.
